Now Offering Google Maps - Business View Tours
I'm happy to announce that I've qualified to provide virtual tour content for Google Business View and Google Maps Street View as an independent business owner and photographer.
The process involved extensive training and testing to ensure Google's quality standards, as well as investing in specialized panoramic equipment to create zero-parallax 360° spherical panoramas, allowing the user to look in all directions of the interior of a business location.
What is Google Business View? Google Business Views is an offshoot of Google Maps. For several years Google has been visually mapping the world with their Street View technology. Street View allow users of Google Maps to see a 360° spherical photograph with the ability to look in all directions of a map location. These 360° photos or spherical panoramas are linked together allowing the user to virtually travel down a road that has been photographed. Google Business View allows certified photographers to offer that same Street View technology to businesses. A virtual business tour allows users to travel through a store, restaurant or other business location.
In addition to a 360° virtual tour of the inside of a business, photographers also take a series of still photographs for a business photo gallery. These photos, both still and Street View are published to a Google+ Local page tailored specifically for the business. Business owners may claim their Google+ Local page to add other details and photos if desired.
